South Dakota State golfers Tyler Seeling and Jacob Wilson were named to the Summit League all-conference teams, according to a May 1 announcement. The recognition highlights their performances during the recent season.

The selection of Seeling and Wilson matters as it acknowledges their achievements among league peers and underscores the team’s competitive presence in collegiate golf.

Seeling was chosen for the Summit League Second Team after recording a scoring average of 72.5 over a league-high 33 rounds. His season included matching the NCAA single-round record with a score of 60 at the Island Resort Intercollegiate. Seeling also secured two top-10 finishes, tying for second place at the Jackrabbits Invitational and eighth at the Hawkeye Invitational.

Wilson, in his freshman year, played in 21 rounds with an average score of 73.9 per round. He achieved an eighth-place finish at this spring’s Jackrabbits Invitational.

Both golfers will join their teammates as they compete in the upcoming Summit League Championships scheduled from Sunday through Tuesday in Mesa, Arizona.

The full list of honorees includes Ben Gratzl (Oral Roberts), Mason Haley (Kansas City), Jet Hernandez (Denver), Rylin Petry (North Dakota State), Jorge Sanchez Gutierrez (Oral Roberts) on the First Team; Zander Grant (Denver), Owen Rexing (St. Thomas), Joe Rohlwing (South Dakota), Tyler Seeling (South Dakota State), Jake Skarperud (North Dakota State) on the Second Team; and Saxxon Ford, Jorge Sanchez Gutierrez, Jack Spencer, Carter White, and Jacob Wilson on the All-Freshman Team.
