Steve Haugaard for Governor: Keeping Public and Private Interests Separate
0Comments

As future Governor of South Dakota, I’ve thought through the many problems in leadership that our state is facing right now. Restoring trust and transparency in our state government is a high priority, and it comes with reformatting the way that we look at “Public Private Partnerships.”

I believe that these partnerships need to be few and far between so that we avoid increasing conflicts of interest at the expense of taxpayers. I believe that the state can (and will!) facilitate good changes and growth, but we should not see state government as the end-all.

Keeping these interests separate and restoring trust in leadership is just one of my many goals as your future Governor! You can read more about my campaign here: https://www.stevehaugaard.com/
