Names Released In Lincoln County Fatal Crash

 

What:    Two-Vehicle Crash

Where:  Intersection of 275th Street and 466th Avenue

              Three miles north of Lennox, S.D.

When:   5:41 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022

 

Driver No. 1: Jordan Javers, 32, Sioux Falls, S.D.,  Serious Non-Life Threatening Injuries

Vehicle: 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup

 

Driver No. 2: Nicoli Wrage, 59, Marion, S.D., Fatal Injuries

Vehicle: 2002 Toyota Camry

 

LENNOX, S.D. –  A 59-year-old woman from Marion, S.D., has been identified as the person who died early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash north of Lennox.

Preliminary crash information indicates that a 2002 Toyota Camry was eastbound on 275th Street when it failed to stop at the stop sign and collided in the intersection with an 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup that was southbound on 466th Avenue. Both vehicles went off the roadway into a field.

Nicoli Wrage, the driver of the Toyota, was pronounced dead at the scene. Jordan Javers of Sioux Falls, S.D., the 32-year-old driver of the pickup, sustained serious non-life threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to a Sioux Falls hospital. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.

The Highway Patrol is an agency of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
