PIERRE, S.D. – The Department of Labor and Regulation is offering a first-of-its-kind Workforce Knowledge Series for businesses and organizations.

Sessions will be held at 11:30 a.m. CST via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, Dec. 6 and Thursday, Dec. 8. The first session will focus on the HIRE Vets Medallion program and the second on the Federal Bonding program.

“Our Job Service offices have planned these Workforce Knowledge sessions to help businesses hire, train, recruit and retain employees,” said state Labor and Regulation Secretary Marcia Hultman. “I encourage employers to take advantage of these free training sessions.”

The goal of these sessions is to share DLR’s workforce knowledge on a variety of topics with businesses and organizations. Knowledge sharing enhances the organizations’ ability to find solutions to the hiring challenges they may be facing.

Advanced registration is required by completing this form. A link to the session will be emailed one week before the event.

Contact a Job Service office for further details or with questions.
