Two nighttime closures are planned for Interstate 229 in Sioux Falls to allow crews to work on sign structures. On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, the northbound lanes of I-229 will be closed between Louise Avenue and Western Avenue from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning. The next night, on Wednesday, February 26, the southbound lanes will be closed between Western Avenue and Louise Avenue during the same hours.
Motorists are advised to use signed detour routes via 57th Street while these closures are in effect.
BX Civil & Construction of Dell Rapids, South Dakota is serving as the prime contractor for this $1.3 million project.
