Tour De Yankton October Hiring Event

PIERRE, S.D. – The next Tour De Yankton Jobs Hiring Event will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. (CDT). The event is hosted by the Department of Labor and Regulation Yankton Job Service office in partnership with Yankton Thrive and Riverfront Broadcasting.

October Tour De Yankton participants include Trail King, S.D. Human Services Center, Boys & Girls Club, Yankton Post Office, Parker Hannifin, First National Bank Card Center, Applied Engineering, S.D. Department of Transportation, James Steel and Holiday Inn Express/Fairfield Inn.

The Tour De Yankton Hiring Event is designed to allow job seekers to explore various career opportunities in Yankton. Individuals are invited to stop at participating businesses to learn about the company, apply for a position and receive a confidential interview.

Logan Isaak, Store Manager at Sherwin Williams says, “Having your local government make a program like this truly shows that they care. I think this is a wonderful program and appreciate all the help they’ve given us.”

Participating businesses can build brand awareness, find an untapped pool of qualified candidates, benefit from face-to-face interaction with potential employees and save time and money finding qualified employees.

The next Tour De Yankton hiring event is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. (CST). Events will be hosted on the third Tuesday of every month at no cost to the business or job seeker. Businesses are invited to sign up for future events by contacting the Yankton Job Service office at 605-668-2900.
