PIERRE, S.D. – The Department of Labor and Regulation Watertown Job Service will host its first “Walk-in Watertown” recruiting and hiring event on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (CST) at 2001 9th Avenue SW, Suite 200.
The Walk-in Watertown event is designed to allow job seekers the opportunity to visit, apply and possibly receive a confidential interview with one or more businesses in one location. Individuals should bring a resume and be prepared to interview for open positions in which they may be interested.
Participating businesses can build brand awareness, find an untapped pool of qualified candidates, benefit from face-to-face interaction with potential employees, and save time and money finding qualified employees.
Business partners for the month of November include Doug’s Anchor Marine, Wurth Elektronik and Macksteel Warehouse.
Interested individuals needing help with a resume or cover letter before the event can call the Watertown Job Service office at 605-882-5131 to speak with a job advisor. To view open positions before the event, visit southdakotaworks.org.
Businesses interested in participating in future events should contact the Watertown Job Service office and ask for Lana.
This event will be hosted on the third Wednesday of every month and is available at no cost to businesses or job seekers. The next scheduled event is Wednesday, Dec. 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (CST) at the Watertown Job Service office.
